As many as 60 photographic prints by renowned US photographer and ethnographer Edward S. Curtis are on display at the “Sacred Legacy” exhibition, which is being held in Hanoi from June 4-16.
The exhibition, co-organised by the US Embassy in Hanoi and the National Library of Vietnam, hopes to introduce Vietnamese people to American culture and people.
In addition to exhibition activities in Vietnam, the US government also supports programmes in the US, such as the currently running Folk life Festival in Washington, which introduces Vietnamese culture to the American public.
