Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Dinh Bin on June 24 had talks with a group of Vietnamese alumni who studied at the French University of Polytechnique.

During the talks, ambassador Bin informed Vietnamese alumni about Vietnam’s socio-economic development, and its strong integration into the world, including increasing co-operation and investment in France.

Ambassador Bin affirmed the Vietnamese Government’s policies aimed at encouraging Vietnamese students studying abroad and overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and entrepreneurs to further contribute to the country for the benefit of national construction and development.

The group of Vietnamese alumni was set up last April with the aim of creating new ideas and initiatives to launch development co-operation and scientific research projects in Vietnam. The group has attracted the participations of Vietnamese intellectuals who studied at the French university of Polytechnique in the past decade, French engineers of Vietnamese origin, and even French engineers, who want to do the best for Vietnam.
