A 70-cm marble sculpture, in the shape of a lotus bud, was discovered in the western part of Cha Citadel in Dong Lam hamlet, An Nhon district in southern Binh Dinh province.

The sculpture, unearthed by local people, is divided into three parts. The square pedestal is 36-cm long in edge; the centre is carved with eight petals, each 15-cm high; and the top looks like a lotus bud.

According to museum experts, the sculpture was placed on top of Cham towers, which dated back to the 11th-14th century.
