• French pianist's "Rachmaninov Night" 

A show titled “Khoi Nguon” (The Beginning) at the Hanoi Opera House on September 1, will present many kinds of music including jazz, world music, electronic music, Vietnamese traditional music and experimental music, as a curtain-raiser for this project.

It will involve the participation of local diva Thanh Lam, Vietnamese-French jazz artist Nguyen Le, Tunisian composer, singer and oud player Dhafer Youssef and Moroccan-German percussionist Rhani Krija.

The album themed “Nguon Coi” (The Roots) put out in August 2012 as part of the project, will be published in early 2013 and introduced at international music festivals.
