8th German Film Festival set for Sept. in Vietnam

VOV.VN - The Goethe Institute has announced the 8th German Film Festival in Vietnam will raise its curtain Sep 6-16 in Hanoi, Haiphong, Hue, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The event provides movie watchers a chance to see a series of exciting films, which have attracted attention at various international film festivals and received prestigious awards around the globe, including the Oscars.

The festival will present more than 40 screenings in the original German language with Vietnamese and English subtitles.

It will also welcome a special guest, female director, screenwriter and actor Anne Zohra Berrached to introduce the award-winning film ‘24 Wochen’ in Hanoi and HCM City.
