The European Commission has approved a list of 40 Vietnamese students who will receive Eramus Mundus scholarships in the 2006-2007 academic year.

The scholarships, each worth around 24,000-42,000 euro are funded by Eramus Mundus to help students follow one of 35 post-graduate courses at 57 universities across Europe.

Forty Vietnamese students will major in space and aviation technology, international trade and European integration, strategic project management, tertiary education and other fields. Students who pursue Masters Degrees will go through at least two universities in Europe in order to gain better understanding of European lifestyles, culture and languages.
Last academic year, only 16 Vietnamese students received such scholarships.
