They are competing in 14 events over distances ranging from 500 metres to 2,000 metres.

The team from Hai Duong, with outstanding rowers such as Le Thi An, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Nguyen Van Son, Vu Dinh Quyen and Tran Quang Tung, is considered the strongest rival for hosts Hanoi, which has 23 experienced veterans as well as young talents including Hong Dieu, Luu Van Dong and Nguyen Van Thuy. 

The first day of the tournament will feature fierce competition in the women’s lightweight single sculls (LW1X) and double sculls (W2-) events, as well as men’s lightweight double sculls (LM2X), quadruple sculls (M4-), and single sculls (M1X).
