The 2010 Vietnam-Japan Festival opened in Ho Chi Minh City on September 12.

The event, jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Culture House and the Japanese Consulate General, aims to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries.

During the week-long festival, people will have the chance to learn about Japan’s traditions games and flower arrangement Ikebana, as well as its land and people.
