The Giai Dieu Mua Thu (Autumn Melody) concert programme is scheduled to take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatoire from August 15-17.

Twenty-five talented musicians and artists from Vietnam and abroad will take part in violin, piano, flute, clarinet, ballet and singing performances. International guest artists from Singapore, Korea, France, Macedonia, the United Kingdom and the United States will also be invited to perform in the concert.

Among them, eighteen artists will return to Vietnam from abroad, including pianist Nguyen Bich Tra from Britain, pianist Tran Thi Tam Ngoc from Boston, pianist Van Thanh Cong, conductor Le Phi Phi from Macedonia, violinists Ta Ton and Vu Viet Chuong from Houston in the U.S, violinist Tran Huu Quoc from the Republic of Korea (RoK), violinists Bui Cong Duy, Nguyen Huu Khoi Nguyen and Khoi Nam, Tang Thanh Nam and Nguyen Quoc Truong, ballet dancers Mai Anh, Phuc Hung, Hong Chau, To Nhu, Bao Trung and Truc Giang.

The concert programme includes a concert gala on August 15, a gala of chorus and ballet on August 16 and concert gala featuring famous works written for piano, cello and contrabass on August 17. All three gala nights will be broadcast live on HTV2.

The event is organised by the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) and the HCM City Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism.
