The 2007 Nha Trang Sea Festival successfully concluded on June 15, helping introduce local and foreign visitors to potential and advantages of central Nha Trang city.
During the week-long event, various activities were held, including art performances, sport games, seminars and exhibitions.
At the closing ceremony, visitors were treated to a special art performance in the hope of welcoming them again in 2009. The organizing board announced a list of seven Vietnam’s records set during the festival, including the first sea festival of Vietnam, Vietnam’s largest set of sea mascots, Vietnam’s biggest chess pieces, Vietnam’s longest set of pinwheel, Vietnam’s biggest made-of-coconut shell Salagane, and the longest spring-roll in Vietnam.
