2,000 runners participate in Da Nang Int’l Marathon
More than 2,000 athletes, both professional and amateur, as well as tourists and local people are expected to participate in the 2013 International Marathon, scheduled for September in the central coastal city of Danang.
The event is organised by World Marathon Tours Inc. (US) in consultation with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).
The race will include three categories: full marathon (42.195 km run), half marathon (21.0975 km run), and a 5 km fun run for all to enjoy.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three winners and the top Vietnamese runner in the full and half marathon races.
Early registration has started since November 1, 2012 and is valid until April 30, 2013 . Late registration will be accepted until July 31, 2013 .
