The main topics of the contest was about helping poor people, helping friends to school, donating bloods and helping animals.

Among 80 paintings selected for the finals, the jury awarded national prizes for 20 best paintings which will be sent to the painting exhibition of ASEAN children in Singapore in September.

The painting contest is the annual event of the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (ASEAN-COCI) and is held by the Fine Arts and Cinematography Agency and the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture and Information.
