The prize presentation ceremony took place at the Hanoi University of Medicine in presence of Party Central Committee (PCC) secretary and head of the PCC’s Commission for Ideology and Culture To Huy Rua, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan, as well as many representative from students’ association.

Among prize recipients are students from ethnic minority groups such as Dao and K’Ho.

Meanwhile, a similar ceremony will also be held to present “Sao thang Gieng” Prize to Vietnamese students studying abroad.
