169 athletes attend National Pentaque Champs
(VOV) -One hundred and sixty nine players representing 14 clubs from across the country are contesting the 2013 National Pentaque Championships in the southern province of Soc Trang from April 16–24.
The championships comprise nine different events, including men’s and women’s triples, men’s and women’s doubles, men’s and women’s shooting, and mixed doubles.
The tournament hopes to encourage as many localities as possible to invest in the development of the sport.
It also provides athletes with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and helps select the best players for the national squad that will represent Vietnam in upcoming regional and international competitions.
