Sixteen Vietnamese students who excel in their study at universities across the country left for the Republic of Korea (RoK) on June 11 to explore this country’s traditional culture at the invitation of the RoK International Education Development Institute.

Half of the students were appointed by eight universities that teach the Korean language, and the remainder were selected from the Korean writing contest launched by the RoK International Education Development Institute and the RoK Embassy in Hanoi in March 2007.

They will join lectures on Korean economics, history and culture, visit universities and companies and make field trips to learn about the daily life of the Korean people.
