In the morning, all 25 feature films were screened at local cinemas, attracting a large audience. The atmosphere of the festival is becoming more robust not only in cinemas but also in streets and on roads. Posters, banners and flowers were hung along main streets while local authorities finished preparation for the most important event for the Vietnamese film industry.
All cinemas have been repaired and the 400-seat Student Cinema Centre has been built.
The festival, themed “For a renewed and integrated Vietnam cinematography”, drew 60 delegations from across the country and 7 international delegations – China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Cambodia, Laos and the US.
During the festival, which runs until November 24, exchanges between film makers, artists and audience will be held.
