Twelve contestants have been awarded for their excellent works at a contest on the Republic of Korea (RoK) which ended in Hanoi on December 16.

Addressing the awards ceremony, Minister Counsellor Bae Jae Hyun of the RoK Embassy in Hanoi said the contest has helped increase the exchange between Vietnam and the RoK, contributing to promoting bilateral friendship.

The contest is launched annually by the Vietnam-RoK Friendship Association in Hanoi in collaboration with the Hanoi Culture Fund and the RoK Embassy.

This year's contest began in September, drawing the participation of pupils, university students, journalists and soldiers nationwide with 7,000 entries, including writings, short films and photo collections.
