The Mega Star Media Joint Venture has received more capital to develop multifunctional entertainment centres in Vietnam.

So far, Mega Star Media has found four suitable places in Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and Dong Nai and is looking for others to open 10 multifunctional entertainment centres with about 100 cinemas halls.

Mega Star Media’s first functional cinema complex – Cineplex – comprises eight cinema halls that can accommodate as many as 1000 people. The complex will be put into use in April, 2006 at Vincom City Towers, Hanoi.
