Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has approved a pilot project on setting up a camera system for traffic surveillance on National Way 1’s Phap Van-Cau Gie section in Hanoi.

The camera system is designed to help gather information on traffic flow, density and accidents.

The pilot project is part of the city authorities’ plan to reduce traffic accidents.
