Seven passengers were killed and 33 others injured after two buses collided in the central province of Ninh Thuan on June 27.

The accident occurred on National Highway No1A in Ninh Hai District’s Tan Hai commune when the bus on the south-north route struck the other bus travelling in the opposite direction. Seven people were killed immediately and 33 others were injured, including one in critical condition. All the injured were taken to Ninh Thuan General Hospital.

The accident caused a 10km traffic jam which lasted four hours on the National Highway.
