The provincial People’s Committee of Cao Bang opened the 2006 Cao Bang Border Tourism Festival on May 9.

Many activities are featured as part of the festival, such as ethnic art performances, folklore games, Vietnam-China art exchanges, and sightseeing and recreational activities at tourism sites.

Also on May 9, the 2006 Cao Bang Fair for International Trade and Tourism opened in Cao Bang town, with 200 pavilions introducing consumer goods and specialities of Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises.
The festival will last through to May 15.
