Vietfood & Beverage - ProPack opens in Hanoi

At the event, more than 180 exhibitors from eleven countries are showcasing a wide array of products, many for which Vietnam has a comparative advantage such as tea, coffee, fresh and packed seafood, vegetables, fruit, and confectionary in some 500 exhibition booths.

The four-day event marks the first time the Expo is being held in Hanoi following annual events in Ho Chi Minh city for the past 20 years and it is expected to attract 15,000 guests, say the organizers.

Particularly, the event will see a return of domestic agricultural brand names Golden Farm, Luong Quoi coconut products, Minh Tien Coffee, Chinh Son Tea, Minh Trung Food, among others.

A highlight of the event is clean agricultural products, which meet with Global G.A.P standards. Within the framework of the Exhibition, a two-day business forum will take place November 9-10.

Vietnam has the largest number of participants attending the event including big names the likes of Saigon Beer, Ha Noi Beer, Vifon, Vissan and Duy Tan Plastics, followed by China, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China) and Poland.
