Vietnamese piano talent Nguyen Viet Trung will play at the Hanoi Opera House on February 22 in a unique performance with two other young talents from Vietnam and Poland.

Trung, 13, who started playing piano at the age of seven, will return to his native country and perform solo in the first part of the concert. He is now living in Poland where he began his piano studies under the tutelage of Prof. Filomena Dziedzic.

The young pianist was awarded a number of top music prizes in prestigious competitions, such as the Emmy Alberg competition in Lodz, Poland, in 2005, the Chopin competition in Mazowiecki province in 2006, Poland, the international music festival in Glubczyce, Poland, in 2007, and the international competition in Plock, Poland, in 2008.

Trung has performed in Ukraine, Hungary and many times in Poland. His solo performance will be followed by a concerto by Alexander Krzyzanowski, 18, from Poland and Luu Hong Quang, 19, from Vietnam.
