The Association "For the Vietnamese Community in Germany" was set up at its first congress in Berlin on October 14.

The association aims is to encourage Vietnamese people living in Germany to further engage in business and other activities aimed at strengthening their ties with Vietnam.

The association also works to promote Vietnamese culture and tradition in Germany to boost the friendship between Vietnam and Germany.

Participants at the congress approved the association's regulations and elected an executive board with Le Duy Nhan as President.
