An ancient stone stele has been discovered by farmers in Dak Po rural district in the Central Highland province of Gia Lai.
The stele, which is 1.6 metres wide, 2 metres high and 1.4 metres thick, shows sophisticatedly-carved characters on both of its sides.

Despite being buried for a long time underground, many of these characters are still readable and culture experts said they are possibly sanskrit of the ancient Cham people.
