VOV Deputy General Director Dao Duy Hua warmly welcomed the Lao delegation, describing the visit as a vivid manifestation of the friendship and special cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and LNCF and VOV in particular.

Mr. Hua gave an overview of the road to development over VOV’s 64-year history, highlighting the large strides forward it has made in recent years, which has been acknowledged by domestic and foreign listeners.

LNCF Vice chairman Phonchan Phonchavat thanked VOV for its great contributions to Laos through its struggles in the past and in the ongoing process of the national construction.

He also thanked VOV for helping Lao National Radio train reporters and editors and expressed the wish that the two national Radios would continue to cooperate effectively to promote friendship among the people of Vietnam and Laos.
