HCM City exchange promotes Indochinese friendship
(VOV) - Cambodian and Lao students joined local youth in a cultural and sport exchange in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12 to strengthen friendship between the three countries.
As many as 300 young delegates examined a report on the history of the special relationship between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, as well as the youth’s role and responsibility towards fostering friendship.
They took part in outdoor activities, including a football friendly, a photo exhibition on the relationship of the three Indochinese countries, and art performances celebrating the success of the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2012 and 45 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The students associations of Laos and Cambodia in HCM City and the local youth association signed cooperation partnerships during the event.
