On behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung on February 27 signed a decision on presenting certificates of merit to two citizens in central Thanh Hoa province.

The two brave men, Nguyen Van Dan and Nguyen Van Tinh, helped the SE1 train avoid an accident on January 20, 2007. After finding that a lorry got stuck on the railways near their homes, they spared no effort to bring the coming train to a stop in time.
