Sixteen Flamenco dancers from Spain will perform at the Hanoi Opera House on February 20 on the occasion of the official visit to Vietnam by Spanish King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia.

The Ministry of Culture and Information’s Arts Performance Department said Hanoians will have a chance to enjoy many pieces of the EVA play - the first work of Spanish dancer Eva La Yerbabuena, which was performed at the 1998 Seville Biennial Flamenco Festival.

Artists from the “Hoa Trang An” folk music team will join the Spanish delegation with the Kloongput solo, monocord and folk t’rung musical instruments.

Since its founding by Eva La Yerbabuena in 1998, the Flamenco team has staged four plays and toured many countries around the world.
