Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Duy Hung on January 19 presented a Vietnam-style garden model at the International Bonsai and Flowers Exhibition in Chiang Mai province as a gift to Thailand.

The 500sq.m garden with a typical traditional design of northern Vietnam is home to various types of bonsais reflecting Vietnamese people's hopes for Phuc (happiness), Loc (wealth) and Tho (longevity).

Vietnam
is among 30 nations attending the International Bonsai and Flowers Exhibition being held in Thailand since last November on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadef's accession to the throne and his 80th birthday.

The exhibition, which is displaying around 2,500 types of flowers and bonsai, has so far attracted 2 million foreign and domestic visitors.

It is expected to end on January 31, 2007.
