French Prime Minister Francois Fillon arrived in Hanoi on November 12, beginning his three-day visit to Vietnam at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung.

The French PM is scheduled to hold talks with PM Dung and meet with Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and President Nguyen Minh Triet.

He will witness the signing of contracts between French and Vietnamese entrepreneurs and attend the closing ceremony of the French-Vietnamese business forum in Hanoi on November 13 before visiting HCM City and central Hue City.
