The top thirty-two out of 245 teams from universities, colleges and technical schools across the country are fighting in the final round of this year’s Robot Contest to get a ticket to the Asia-Pacific Contest in Thailand.
The final round, which is being underway in Tuyen Son Sport Complex in the central city of Da Nang, will run through May 15.

The winner of the 9th annual Robocon Vietnam 2011 will take part in the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, slated for Bangkok in September.

The Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2011, under the theme of “Loy Krathong, Lighting Happiness with Friendship”, aims to forge friendship between young people who share the same interest.

Vietnam has won the Contest three times.
