Radio and TV stations in the Central Highlands provinces have increased their airtime and programmes, aimed at providing local people with more up-to-date information on political and social life besides entertainment programmes.

Regional radio and TV stations provided many programmes in local languages used by ethnic minority groups.

Noteworthy was the Dak Nong Radio and TV station with two news programmes a day and between two and six live programmes a month. The station broadcasts five radio programmes and four TV programmes in the M'Nong ethnic language a week.
