The event will draw 200 players competing in four handicaps, including one for women golfers. Top Vietnamese golfers, including Huynh Van Son, Nguyen The Vinh, Tran Le Duy Nhat, Tran Trong Thien, Nguyen Thai Duong and Nguyen Van Dung, are scheduled to compete.

According to Vietnam Golf Association’s general secretary Nguyen Ngoc Chu, the tournament is expected to raise VND1 billion.

Players will also be eligible to grab precious hole-in-one prizes from sponsors, said Pham Thanh Tri, a representative of tournament sponsor Vietnam Victory Co.

The tournament will be broadcast live on VTV.
