100 photos featuring the beauty of Vietnamese women created by photographer Van Tho will be showcased at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi on August 6.
The exhibition, co-organised by the Vietnam Photographers’ Association and the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), is part of the activities to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, and the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

Through the exhibition, photographer Van Tho wants to highlight the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women, from senior leaders to Vietnamese heroic mothers, heroes of the people’s armed forces, scientists, teachers, businesswomen and artists.

Van Tho now nearly 80 is a former VNA photojournalist, who has devoted all of his life to the arts and has successfully organised eight individual exhibitions and published four photo collections.
