The “Cloud Festival” opened in the misty district of Sapa in northern mountainous Lao Cai province on April 30 to mark the 105^th anniversary of Sapa tourism service sector.

As part of the 2008 Sapa Tourism and Cultural Week, the event introduced visitors to folk dances and songs, folk games and traditional dishes.
