(VOV) - Photographer Nguyen Thanh Tung’s 28 images of ethnic minority groups entitled “Saying Hello to the Northwestern region” are on display at an exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City.
The photographs were captured over four seasons in mountainous Dao, Thai, and H’Mong communities.
Each photo offers a snapshot of local material or spiritual life.
A portion of profits earned from photograph sales will be used to buy confectionary and learning materials for local children during Tung’s trip to the Northwestern region in December 2013.
The exhibition will last through to October 30.
The region is noted for regular market days. The market is held on certain days during the month, offering all specialities of localities |
