Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Vu Trong Kim paid a Tet visit to dignitaries of the Episcopal Council of the Catholic Church and Catholic followers at the Archbishopric office in Hanoi on January 30.

Mr Kim affirmed that the VFF always opens its doors to all Catholic people who come with their concerns and pledged that the organisation will work with relevant authorities to handle all squalid affairs.

He expressed hope that the relationship between the VFF and the Vietnam Catholic Church will be further cemented and developed in the coming time.

The Archbishop of the Hanoi Diocese and Secretary General of the Episcopal Council, Ngo Quang Kiet, thanked the Vietnam Fatherland Front for their assistance to Catholic followers in the past years.

He said he hoped the VFF will continue to collaborate with authorised agencies to facilitate Catholic people’s religious activities and enable them to actively take part in the national construction.
