The Kumho Asiana Group from the Republic of Korea (RoK) presented scholarships to 100 Vietnamese students in Hanoi on March 7.

These are poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well. They will be provided with free school fees until the end of their courses at universities. The seventy students who were nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, are from 9 universities in Hanoi and the remaining 30 from culture and arts schools.

Humho Asiana general director Park Sam Koo said for the benefit of the growing friendship between the two countries, the group will continue to provide funds for cultural and art activities and scholarships for Vietnamese students.
