An international exhibition on automobile and supporting industries opened in Hanoi on August 17.

The five-day Vietnam AutoExpo 2006 showcases automobile parts and accessories; equipment and machines for automobile manufacture and assembly, molding, welding, plating and painting industries, as well as services in repairing and maintenance.

Special vehicle for construction, mining, health care and military use are also introduced at the exhibition.
During the event, there will be seminars on the development of Vietnam's auto industry.
