The Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi is due to host the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2020 between April 1 and April 4, with the occasion set to see a wide range of activities take place.
Aside from tourism promotion activities being held at booths throughout the event, there will be an international forum which highlights the role of cultural heritage in tourism development with approximately 500 delegates taking part, in addition to ACMEC tourism promotion forum to markets in Northeast Asia.
Moreover, the travel mart is also expected to mark the launch of sideline activities, aiming to honour outstanding individuals and businesses for their efforts during 2019, strengthen connectivity among travel operators.
Vu The Binh, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said a total of 505 booths are set to be held at the VITM Hanoi 2020.
As of January 1, a range of businesses from 45 provinces and cities nationwide, and 17 countries and territories worldwide, have registered for the event including firms from the Republic of Korea, the United States, Australia, Thailand, China, Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
