At present, Ruili Airlines Co, Ltd has a fleet of 19 aircraft, all of which are Boeing planes. The company operates 61 domestic routes and 10 international routes, totaling 108 flights to 39 cities each day.

At the welcoming ceremony for the first guests, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Le Khac Nam emphasised that the direct air route from Kunming to Hai Phong will serve to contribute to intensifying links and co-operation between Hai Phong city and Yunnan province in particular and the two countries in general.

In order to fully tap into the potential of the new flight path, Hai Phong will create optimal conditions for Ruili Airlines to develop, and satisfy the needs of passengers.

Ruili Airlines Chairman Ma Zhanwei expressed a desire that Hai Phong city will continue facilitate the company’s operations in the city.

Currently, airlines operating throughout Vietnam have launched flights to and from Cat Bi International Airport. These include routes to Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Buon Me Thuot, Pleiku, Nha Trang, in addition to several flights to China, the Republic of Korea, and Thailand.
