In addition, this flight will also be used to transport medical relief goods sent by the Vietnamese government to the Czech Republic in order to help the Central European country resolve its shortage of medical equipment amid increasingly complicated developments of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The flight is scheduled to depart from Noi Bai International Airport at 8:20 am on March 25, with 280 passengers from the Czech Republic and other European nations onboard.
For this special flight, Bamboo Airways will use a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner wide-body aircraft. Passengers will be able to contact the Czech Embassy in Hanoi in order to find out more details and to book air tickets.
To minimise the risk of infection, the airline is to comply with strict regulations and recommendations set out by both domestic and foreign authorities.
All crew members and technical staff have been carefully selected in order to ensure the health and safety of passengers.
The airline will work closely with authorities in order to check the health of all passengers whilst simultaneously disinfecting all travelers prior to boarding.
Upon landing in Prague, the aircraft will be thoroughly disinfected in line with the highest standards to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.
A representative of Bamboo Airways said the special flight is part of joint efforts in the global fight against the epidemic, noting that it will ultimately contribute to strengthening the friendly relationship that exists between Vietnam and the Czech Republic.
