The offer was unveiled at a press conference held in Hanoi on January 10. Vu The Binh, the standing vice chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said this year’s event is expected to attract 720 businesses from across 25 nations and territories around the globe.
A diverse range of activities will be held during the event aimed at promoting green growth, environmental protection, biodiversity, and wildlife protection.
The fair will also focus on the booming 4.0 Industry, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by the tourism business community.
Mr Binh noted that 32,000 cheap tours and 20,000 low-cost tickets will be on offer at the fair to stimulate tourism demand for the 2019 season.
This year, the event is expected to attract more than 85,000 visitors with an estimated sales revenue of VND350 billion.
