Traffic police in HCM City will fine motorbike drivers carrying children without helmets as from September 12.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on all provinces and relevant agencies to find ways to further reduce traffic accidents nationwide, despite a fall in numbers of accidents and fatalities in the first six months compared to the same period last year.
“Traffic violators should not use money or goods to bribe police and should report policemen who demand bribes to concerned agencies,” Public Security Minister Tran Dai Quang said during recent question time of the ongoing National Assembly session.
