Three Cabinet members are expected to answer queries from legislators concerning pressing social issues at the National Assembly Standing Committee’s one-day question time in March.

The proposal was made by the Deputies’ Working Group at the on-going session of the NA Standing Committee in Hanoi on February 25.

Accordingly, Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc will answer questions about investment procedures under review, investment capital allocated for localities and other measures to stimulate the national economy.

Questions for Minister of Transport Ho Nghia Dung will focus on the progress of key transport projects, the management of transport costs, the operation of waterways and public transport, and the ministry’s responsibility for serious traffic accidents.

Interior Minister Tran Van Tuan will speak of the “brain drain” at State agencies, the slow progress in administrative reform and the roadmap for salary reform.

In addition, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court will take the floor to talk about the settlement of suspended court cases.

NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong asked the Deputies’ Working Group to gather and sort out questions of concern to voters and submit them to the NA Standing Committee for consideration.
