There has been little change in the FIFA women’s football rankings in the first quarter this year. The Vietnamese team still leads the Southeastern Asian region and is No. 32 in the world with 1638 points.

In the region, the team is followed by Thailand, which is down 1 place No. 34 with 1600 points and Myanmar, world’s No. 43 with 1542 points.

In the world’s top 10, the 3-2 win over Germany at the Algarve Cup this month has helped the US women to maintain their domination with 2227 points.

Brazil and Sweden are placed 2nd and 3rd in the rankings, while 5th place is shared by Japan and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The FIFA rankings for women’s football in the next quarter will be announced on May 28.
