Drug trafficking ring busted in HCM City
(VOV) - Police in Binh Thanh district, HCM City announced on June 15 that they had uncovered a drug trafficking ring that were transporting 7.1 kilos of heroin from Hai Phong to HCM City.
They also seized 20,000 ecstasy pills and crystal meth from a 30 year-old man named Hoang, who said he received the heroin cakes from a woman in Hai Phong to transport them to HCM City.
Police officers arrested Hoang when he arrived in HCM City’s Eastern Bus Station. They also busted the woman named Loan at the Tan Son Nhat airport and raided her home in Hai Phong where they seized more drugs.
