Thai Vietjet, a subsidiary of Vietnamese budget airline Vietjet Air, has inaugurated its maiden flight VZ210 from Thailand’s capital airport of Suvarnabhumi to Khon Kaen, the commercial and political centre in northeastern Thailand.
Thai Vietjet, a joint venture of Vietnamese budget airline Vietjet Air in Thailand, on April 27 offers more than a million promotional tickets priced from only 9 THB (around 28 US cents) for all Thailand’s flights after the pandemic with travel period from August 1 to December 31.
Vietjet and Thai Vietjet are offering 70% discount on all domestic and international routes until March 17 as part its programme titled “Protect our planet – Fly with Vietjet”.
Thai Vietjet has announced opening a new route from Bangkok to Dalat this December. Vietjet Group and the Thai affiliate will operate a total of six direct routes between Thailand and Vietnam, including Bangkok to Hanoi and Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City, and Dalat and Phuket and Chiang Mai to HCM City.
Travel firm Viettravel is offering direct charter flights between Da Nang and Bangkok on Thai Vietjet with one-way tickets priced at US$119.
Thai VietJet, Vietnam’s first joint-venture airline with Thailand, has plans to launch scheduled flights between Bangkok and central Vietnam after a number of successful chartered flights between the two destinations.
