Vietnam secures two more golds on tenth day of SEA Games 30

VOV.VN - Vietnamese athletes successfully won two gold medals in the athletics and swimming events on the morning of December 10 at the ongoing Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in the Philippines.

Nguyen Thi Oanh got the Vietnamese delegation off to a great day by winning a gold medal in the women’s 5,000m category in the competition’s athletics event. This win was quickly followed by her teammate Pham Thi Hue.

The win represents the first gold medal won by the Vietnamese team on December 10 and the 11th gold to be won by Vietnam in the SEA Games 30’s athletics events.

The nation’s second gold medal of the morning came from Tran Tan Trieu who clinched a gold medal in the men’s 10km swimming event.

Elsewhere, the morning concluded with Vietnamese athletes securing a bronze medal in the Esport event.

At present, the Vietnamese sporting delegation have secured a total 81 gold medals and are currently ranked third in the medal tally.
